Residential Burglary/Theft at Condo Unit on North Vail Ave, Arlington Heights


Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:01 PM Wednesday of a residential burglary/theft at a condo unit in the block of 99 North Vail Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders stole several pieces of jewelry while a contractor left a condo unit unsecured for several minutes. The contractor was away from the condo unit getting materials out of a work van parked on the street.

Several pieces of jewelry were removed from a large jewelry box. The items removed included a pair of gold earrings with four diamonds and a gold necklace with a large fake diamond pendant.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Wednesday May 8, 2013 between 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
