Jennifer Rubin is an American conservative columnist and a blogger for the Washington Post. Previously Rubin worked at Commentary Magazine, the Pajamas Media, Human Events, and the Weekly Standard. Rubin is also published at Politico, New York Post, New York Daily News, National Review, the Jerusalem Post, and a variety of other media publications.

David Shuster’s tweet about the interview saying Rubin asked to cut the mic, when in reality he was talking over her, and was asked by moderator Howard Kurtz to be quiet while Rubin had the last word …

David Martin Shuster (born July 22, 1967) is an American television journalist with Current TV and talk radio host. He has also been an anchor for MSNBC and worked for Fox News and CNN. Shuster’s been in hot water with the Hilary Clinton campaign after he made the following remark, “There’s just something a little bit unseemly to me that Chelsea’s out there calling up celebrities, saying support my mom… doesn’t it seem like Chelsea’s sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?” After Clinton threatened to discontinue participation in any further primary debates on MSNBC, Shuster was suspended for two weeks from all NBC News and MSNBC appearances.
