VIDEO from Milsap, Texas and Aledo, Texas. A rash of tornadoes slammed into several small communities in North Texas overnight, leaving at least six people dead, dozens more injured and hundreds homeless.
At least six people were killed Wednesday as a spring tornado outbreak devastated parts of North Texas, destroying or damaging dozens of homes and injuring dozens of people.
At least six people are confirmed dead and 14 people missing after a tornado struck Hood County in north Texas and Granbury, Texas. In darkness extensive damage is already reported after at least three tornadoes slammed into the river/lakefront town of Granbury Wednesday evening, destroying homes and buildings and sending vehicles flying in the air. There is an early report that one of the tornados might have been one mile wide.
Most of the damage is apparently southeast of the city.
The National Weather Service early estimation is that at least 10 tornadoes touched down in the region.
