VIDEO: A apparent meteor lit up the night sky early on Sunday in Salta, Argentina as the folk music band Los Tekis performed at an outdoor venue.

A video of a concert showed the apparent meteor falling towards earth and bursting into a dazzling light that turned the night sky blue. According to local media, it was also seen in the city of Santiago del Estero, approximately 400 kilometers (250 miles) to the south of Salta.

Salta is a city located in the Lerma Valley, at 3780 feet above sea level in the northwest part of Argentina. Salta is the name for the capital city of the Salta Province. Along with its metropolitan area, Salta has a population of 619,000.

The folk music band “Los Tekis” was performing at an outdoor venue when the meteor fell “backstage” … well way behind backstage.
