Arlington Heights police responded about 2:16 AM Saturday to a report of a suspicious person at Arlngton Heights Road and Rand Road. Police received a report that a woman was attempting to open car doors of vehicles stopped for traffic signals at the intersection of Rand Road and Arlington Heights Road. The subject was described as a female/black.
Police arrived within two minutes and contacted the subject that matched the description. The subject was found to have an extensive criminal history. No word on arrest or citations. The woman was possibly transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters — not confirmed.
