Residential Burglary on East Rockwell Street, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 7:35 PM Saturday of a residential burglary in the 1100 block of East Rockwell Street. Police received a report of

The crime is reported to have occurred Saturday, September 15, 2012 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Residents arrived home to find a door open on the east side of the house. The residents waited outside for police to check the house.

Offender(s) forced open an entry door on the east side of the house. A dent was discovered on the door next to the door knob. Interior wood casing was damaged and gave way to allow entry into the home.

No items were reported to be missing, but items were in plain view once an offender would have entered the home. Nothing appeared to be disturbed or ransacked.
