Residential Burglary Occurs as Residents Prepared to Move Out of Townhouse on South Old Wilke Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:30 AM Thursday of a residential burglary in the 1300 block of Old Wilke Road. Police received a report that a residential burglary occurred at a townhouse while people were preparing to move out of their residence and items on a desk in master bedroom were stolen. The items missing were reported to be a Nikon F3 35 mm camera ($1700), a gold Omega watch ($2000), a men’s gold bracelet ($2000), and a men’s gold ring with rubies and diamonds ($6000).

Fresh pry marks were discovered on the front door handles.

The crime is reported to have occurred between September 3, 2012 at 9:00 p.m. and September 13, 2012 about 10:30 a.m.
