Mount Prospect police responded about 9:59 p.m. Thursday to a robbery at 1707 Chariot Court. Police received a report that three men robbed a victim, and that one of the offenders was armed with a knife.
The three subjects were described as male/Hispanic, and were last seen westbound through the parking lot of Chariot Court.
Police were in contact with the victim within about three minutes.
The suspect with the knife was described as a male/Hispanic, age 23, with black hair, possibly a goatee, wearing a blue hat, a white shirt, and black shorts. He was believed to be armed with a pocket knife.
Suspects were possibly Sureños 13 gang members. Police immediately searched the area.
No word on any arrests.
