Pickup Truck Fire on Woods Dr, Arlington Heights Investigated

Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics and police responded about about 11:07 a.m. Friday to a report of a pickup truck fire in the 1600 block of Woods Drive. Police arrived first in about two minutes and reported a fully-engulged vehicle close to a building.

Police apparently left the scene, but were requested to return to the scene while firefighters were overhauling the vehicle about 45 minutes after the fire was extinguished.
