May 2012 Skywatching: Eta Aquarid Meteor Shower and Annular Eclipse

Highlights of the month include the Eta Aquarid meteor shower, which peaks on May 6th and an annular solar eclipse that will be seen in the western United States. Venus, Saturn and Mars are part of the planetary spectacle in the night sky.
