Des Plaines police responded about 11:40 a.m. to a report of a stolen auto from 1353 Howard Avenue. Police received a report that a black 1993 Toyota Camry (license K 795 790) was stolen in a residential neighborhood. The vehicle is missing the gas cap door cover. The vehicle’s keys were left inside the vehicle when it was stolen.
The offender was described as a male 6’0″ heavyset, wearing a light brown scarf over his face.
The stolen vehicle was last seen southbound on Mannheim from Howard. Des Plaines police alerted area police departments vis the Illinois State Police Emergency Network.
