Carpentersville Homicide Investigation After Isabella Trejo Found Dead with Apparent Stab Wounds

Carpentersville police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:22 p.m. Sunday to a Carpentersville apartment complex in the 0-99 block of Oxford Road, after relatives found Isabella Trejo, 59, unresponsive in an apartment unit.

Isabella Trejo was found with several stab wounds in her upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and the incident initiated a homicide investigation case. The Kane County coroner’s office conducted an autopsy on Trejo Monday. The crime scene is about one block northwest of Dundee-Crown High School, and just west of the school football field.
