Stolen Auto Report at Motel 6 on Algonquin Rd; Vehicle Recovered

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:00 a.m. Sunday of a stolen auto at the Motel 6, 441 West Algonquin Road. Police received a report that a man met some people while drinking at a bar. The subjects drove the victim to the Motel 6 and drove off with his rental vehicle.

The stolen vehicle was described as a Enterprise Rental car — a white Fiat. Two offenders described as (#1) a male/white, 27-years-old 6’2″ 250 LBS, brown hair wearing a black and white plaid shirt, black shorts and brown shoes; and (#2) male/white 21-years-old, 6’0″ thin build with tattoos on his arms, wearing khaki shorts.

The vehicle was located by police about 3:40 a.m. Sunday at the Doubletree hotel near Algonquin Road and Arlington Heights Road. The offenders were possibly located inside Denny’s, but the victim did not want to sign a complaint or press charges.
