Inverness police responded about 1:55 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a fight in progress near the intersection of Robert Road and Florence Avenue. Police arrived within two minutes and requested an ambulance immediately after arrival.
Palatine Rural firefighter/paramedics arrived and called for a second ambulance — a Palatine Fire Department ambulance, which was requested to respond to the 200 block of Florence Avenue for battery victims.
At least one of the victims was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital — indicating possible life-threatening or serious injuries.
