Motorcyclist Radostin Kolev Killed in Crash with Car at West Lake Ave and Magnolia St

Motorcyclist Radostin Kolev, 25, of the 1600 block of North Magnolia Street, Glenview was pronounced dead at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge after a collision at West Lake Avenue & Magnolia Street, Glenview just after noon.

Kolev was northbound on Magnolia Street approaching West Lake Avenue and struck an eastbound 2001 Saturn after he failed to obey a stop sign. The crash occurred about 0.2 miles from Kolev’s listed residence.

Kolev was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital where he was pronounced about 12:30 pm. Saturday.

The driver of the Saturn was not injured in the crash.

Glenview Police Department’s Traffic Unit and the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force’s Major Crash Assistance Team are investigating the crash.
