Road Rage, Man Beating Juvenile Euclid and Vail

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:20 a.m. Friday of a battery in progress at Euclid Avenue and Vail Avenue. Police received a report that a man was beating a juvenile at Euclid Avenue and Vail Avenue. Minutes later they received information that the case was related to a road rage incident. Police also received a reckless driving complaint regarding the offender at Euclid Avenue and Haddow Avenue.

The offender was described as a male/white, about 35-years-old, bald, wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants. The offender was driving a silver Grand Prix, last seen heading eastbound on Euclid Avenue.

A witness followed the vehicle, and gave an update that the vehicle was at Euclid Avenue and Rand Road about two minutes later. Mount Prospect police and Prospect Heights police were alerted to the case and the offender description.

No word on any arrest of contact with the offender. Also no word on whether paramedics were called to the scene.
