Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded to a dumpster fire at Windsor School about 3:40 p.m. Sunday. Officials received a report of a smoldering dumpster at Windsor School, 1315 East Miner Street. The dumpster was located at the back of the school near the back entrance.

About three hours later at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday a citizen interrupted two juveniles trying to start a fire outside on the west side of the First United Methodist Church, 1903 East Euclid Avenue.

The offenders are described as two male/white juveniles, 12 to 13-years-old, one with blond hair, and one with dark hair. They were both riding around on the same BMX bike, and fled the area when the citizen interrupted them.
