Arson Fire at Porta Potty, Dryden School Field

Probable arson for Porta Potty fire.

Arlington Heights police and firefighters responded about 5:00 p.m. Thursday to Dryden Park, where there was a report of a grass fire. Police arrived first, discovered a Porta Potty fully-involved on fire, and put out the fire with a medium-size ABC fire extinguisher, but the Porta Potty was destroyed. Firefighters finished the job with pump cans.

Possible crime pattern to be monitoring. About 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 a fire in a dumpster was reported by Windsor School, 1315 East Miner Street.

At 7:36 p.m. Tuesday May 31, 2011, a dumpster fire was reported at Red Wagon Day Care, 1225 East Davis Street. No serous damage was reported at the dumpster fires, and both were extinguished in a short time.
