An Ohio home exploded into flames early Wednesday, killing a woman and her grandson in a blast that was heard miles away and leaving nothing at the site but a large crater filled with debris.

Suffield Township firefighters responded to a house explosion on Martin Road near the Summit County line that left nothing but pieces of debris. The home exploded into flames early Wednesday, killing a woman and her grandson as they flew with the debris from the blast area.

Investigators confirmed the explosion was related to a propane tank in the home, but have not released information on how the tank ignited or detonated.
