Arlington Heights police received a report just before 8:00 p.m. Sunday of three children left unattended in a car in the parking lot at Mariano’s Fresh Market, 802 East Northwest Highway.
Police arrived and investigated a man and woman about 8:20 p.m. connected with the case. The man was arrested and transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters just after 8:30 p.m.
Air temperature was recorded at 32.5°F.
That’s so bad to leave children unattended in the car. So many bad things can happen in a short amount of time.
