Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to find victims inside the smokey building.
Houston firefighter/paramedics and police responded to a kitchen fire that filled a Jackie’s Child Care, 2810 Crest Park Lane — a daycare center — with smoke Thursday, killing three children and critically injuring four others. Firefighters ran with babies and small children to nearby rescue-ambulances.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, heavy smoke was showing, with two children found outside, and five others still trapped inside. CPR and advanced life support was involved in the rescue operations.
