Rare Snow in Santa Cruz County Near San Francisco, California


Hilly areas of San Francisco got a rare light dusting of snow, the National Weather Service said Saturday. So did other parts of the region. The city last saw snow on the ground in 1976, when an inch fell.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Southwest wind between 6 and 9 mph.
