Tests Show Oil Leaks in Fleet of Qantas Airbus A380 Rolls Royce Jet Engines

Alan Joyce, the head of the Australian airline Qantas, says oil leaks have been found on multiple engines of its Airbus A380 fleet.

The Qantas A-380 jets remain grounded after an engine came apart on a flight from Singapore to Sydney. The oil leaks are an unexpected and unacceptable condition of the jet engines.

The airline and investigators are also looking for a piece of turbine that is missing from the jet engine — part of the debris that showered an Indonesian island during the incident.
