Six Crashes in One Hour for Thursday’s Evening Rush in Arlington Heights and Buffalo Grove

Arlington Heights police and Buffalo Grove police responded to seven crashes between 5:10 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Thursday. Some crashes caused personal injuries and some of the crashes did not cause any injuries.

At 5:10 p.m. the first crash reported was a personal injury crash at Oakton and Dryden at with two cars involved.

Just before 5:20 p.m. the second crash reported was a personal injury crash at Arlington Heights Road and McHenry Road (Route 83) in Buffalo Grove with two cars involved.

About 5:50 p.m. the third crash was reported as a head-on crash with injuries at Northwest Highway and Euclid Avenue. Two injuries that the head-on crash.

At about 6:00 p.m. a crash was reported with no injuries at Lake Cook and Buffalo Grove Road.

Just before 6:10 p.m. a three-car rear-end collision on westbound Euclid Avenue, just east of Dryden. One man hit his head, but refused medical treatment. Westbound Euclid Avenue was blocked for about 15 minutes.

Just 6:15 p.m. a report of a car crashing into a light pole at Aptakisic and Prairie. No report of injuries at that crash.
