Gregory Gentles of Buffalo Grove Charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Child

Buffalo Grove police received a report Monday that two 11- and 12-year-old girls were walking home from school and saw a nude man standing in front of a glass storm door touching his genitals. The girls ran away and called police.

Gregory Gentles, 27, of the 200 block of Bernard Drive and a registered sex offender, faces charges after he exposed himself in front of the two preteen girls that were walking past his house in Buffalo Grove, according to police.

Gentles was charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a child, a class 4 felony. The crime was committed while Gentles was on parole on a prior charge of public indecency. Gentles appeared in bond court Wednesday. Bond was set at $150,000. Gentles is due in court again June 30.
