Thefts Reported at 3 Booths at Promenade of Art at Vail and Campbell

Arlington Heights police responded about 1:30 p.m. Saturday to at least three theft reports at the Promenade of Art street fair near Vail Avenue and Campbell Street. Arlington Heights police are investigating. No known arrests.

UPDATE: THEFTS (2): A female offender removed a silver and topaz ring from booth #205 and a large circular faced purple clock from booth # 248.

The crimes are reported to have occurred on Saturday, June 26th, 2010 between 11:30am-11:45am. The offender is described as a female/white in her 30’s with long blond hair, with an ankle tattoo of a cross. She was wearing wearing white cutoff jeans.

The third case was an incident of the offender seen behind the counter in a booth where jewelry was being sold.
