Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics and police responded about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a fire in the cookers area of the kitchen of Brown’s Chicken in the 3400 block of North Arlington Heights Road. The staff had the small fire out with extinguishers as firefighters arrived. The health department called in to inspect the safety of the kitchen due to the discharge of a fire extinguisher.
