Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday of a burglary to vehicle at the Olympic Park Pool parking lot, 660 North Ridge Avenue. The offender shattered the passenger side front window on a black 2006 Volvo XC900 and removed a multi-colored purse from the front passenger floor. The victim was only away from the Volvo SUV for about 15 minutes when an offender got away with a purse.
The suspect is described as a male/white about 5′ 10″ with short hair. He was wearing an orange shirt with long sleeves.
Arlington Heights police are investigating.
