Lake County Sheriff deputies and Buffalo Grove police officers were searching for a man reported to have beaten another person with a tire iron about 4:50 p.m. at Didier Farm 16678 Aptakistic Road. The victim was injured and waiting at the main entrance to Didier Farms before paramedics arrived.
The offender was described as a male/white, about 6’4″ with dark hair, wearing a black skull cap, a green hoodie, a black jacket, black jeans and carrying a tire iron. The male was last seen on foot westbound toward Buffalo Grove Road.
During search of the offender, Buffalo Grove police found a black sweatshirt fleece jacket and a green sweatshirt fleece jacket on a path to the park just to the west of Didier Farms.
