Northbrook Fire Department called for mutual aid ambulance while they fought a fire in the 1600 block of Mission Hills Road about 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Firefighters were extinguishing a fire Sunday morning on the second floor of a five-story condominium/apartment style building at Mission Hills Country Club in unincorporated Northbrook.
Firefighter/paramedics from Glenview, Highland Park, Northfield and Wheeling assisted Northbrook Fire Department for mutual aid. Unknown if there were injuries or if the ambulance response was precautionary for evacuation and smoke inhalation potential. The fire was declared under control by 7:10 a.m.
