Abdullah Azam al-Saudi, Major Al-Qaeda Operative, Killed by U.S. Missile Strike in Pakistan

NOV 18-19/2008 OVERNIGHT — Abdullah Azam al-Saudi, a major Al-Qaeda operative of Arab origin was among six militants killed overnight in a suspected US missile strike in northwest Pakistan.

Abdullah Azam al-Saudi was involved in recruiting and training of fighters and was the main link between Al-Qaeda’s senior command and Taliban networks in the Pakistani border region.
