Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics respondedto the report of a bomb threat about 11:08 AM Wednesday to the Home Depot, 600 Meacham Road. Police received a report of a bomb threat which apparently gave authorities reason to search the Home Depot in Elk Grove Village.
Cook County Bomb Squad is on the scene with dogs that sniff for explosives. Authorities were also searching the property for any suspicious devices.
The threat may have been received a little earlier than 11:08 a.m. — not confirmed.
