Los Angeles Fire Department received a rescue call for a 50 year-old man not breathing at 12:21 PT on Thursday, June 25, 2009. When the paramedic crew in LAFD Ambulance 71 arrived, they found Michael Jackson in cardiac arrest and began advanced life support, including CPR, for more than 40 minutes at the scene. Michael Jackson’s airway was intubated and was being ventilated with a bag mask when he was seen in the open between the rescue ambulance and buildings during the transportation phase to the hospital. Jackson’s personal physician was also at his rented home working as part of the on-scene resuscitation team.

9-1-1 TRANSCRIPT AND HINTS OF PHYSICIAN INCOMPETENCE AT THE SCENE …
The 9-1-1 caller reveals that the doctor was on the scene at the time of the 9-1-1 call and that CPR was being performed on ‘a 50 year-old male.’ The caller also stated that CPR was being performed on the bed. The 9-1-1 call taker instructs the people at the scene to move the man to the floor. He offered these instructions because a mattress reduces the effectiveness of the chest compressions during CPR. The 9-1-1 call taker also tries to find out if the presumed cardiac arrest was witnessed, which means “were people present when cardiac failure occurred, and did they note the time of the ‘cardiac arrest’ event.” That information is communicated from the 9-1-1 center to the responding rescue ambulance and paramedics. The people at the scene were not cooperative with providing the information regarding ‘witnessed cardiac arrest.’ It is assumed that the on-scene physician was agitated with the questions that were being asked by the 9-1-1 call taker.
A photographer caught a picture of a Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) and shows that LAFD Engine 71 and Rescue Ambulance 71 from Los Angeles Fire Department Fire Station 71 were assigned to the call at 100 North Carolwood Drive at 12:21:04. The display shows the nearest cross street is West Sunset Boulevard. The latitude and longitude of the address plot is also displayed on the MDT as 34.08118800, -118.425086.

Michael Jackson was transported to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and arrived at 1:14 p.m. A medical team, including emergency physicians and cardiologists, worked to resuscitate Michael Jackson for another hour before he was finally pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m.

I’m absolutely confused as to WHY, if Michael was complaining of chest pains on Wed. that that his personal physician and/or Dr. Conrad Murray, his cardologist who had his own personal business problems, DIDN’T call 9-1-1 on Wednesday instead of waiting until Thursday. There’s a strong possibility that he was being injected with his daily shot of DEMEROL plus taking the OXYCONTIN, both of which he seemed to be addicted to.
The caller who would NOT identify himself, apparently proved to be unco-operative at the questions the LAFD Ambulance Paramedics were asking him and….the anonymous caller…for whatever reason, REFUSED to identify the name of the “gentleman” who had collapsed. I’ll be glad when the toxicology reports are made public. I feel something happened here that was NOT above board. And now….seems that Dr.Conrad Murray, Michael’s cardiologist, he either went with Michael into the ambulance and meanwhile his sister’s (??) care was towed because it might hold important evidence as to the drugs being given to Michael.

Michael Jackson reported to have cardiac arrest is when the person stopped breathing and has no pulse. It is possible that demorol could stop a person from breathing if given to much however any Doc or paramedic that comptent would administered Narcan to reverse the drug . If Michael was having chest pain on wednesday he may been deny that he was having a possible heart attack. His physcian should have performed a 12 lead ekg and adminstered oxygen to help rule out the possible of a heart attack. A heart attack is caused when lack of oxygen to heart muscles begin to cause death of that muscle and adventually death of entire heart.
In the Advanced Cardiac Life Support that all Paramedics, Emergency RN’s and Physcian are required to take to ensure licensure. There is a set protocol that governs there actions including the possiblity of ending efforsts or calling it as imply by your article. Unless the physcian who agrees to take over care meaning riding in directing care and putting his license on the line after speaking to the paramedics medical command on a recorded line. The paramedics are in charge and can treat his orders as suggestions however they are ultimately responsible for care render unless that physcian agreed to assume care and all legal liability.

I just really feel that this could have all been prevented had the doctor not left the room, and had the 911 call been made much sooner with more detail regarding Michael Jackson.
