Charles Wade Barkley (born February 20, 1963) is a retired American professional basketball player. Nicknamed “Sir Charles,” for his aggressive and outspoken demeanor.
During the 1989-1990 season with the Philadelphia 76ers, CharlesBarclay helped Philadelphia win 53 regular season games, but lost to the Chicago Bulls in a five-game Eastern Conference Semifinals series.
In March 1991, during an overtime game in New Jersey, Barclay spit at a courtside heckler who had been yelling racial epithets throughout the game at Barkley. Unfortunately Barclay’s spit trajectory was off the mark and he missed the heckler and spit on a young girl.
Barclay later exclaimed that he didn’t “get enough foam” in his spit.

AHFD Engine 2 in safety block position in the background of a Groot garbage truck that clipped utility lines.
Arlington Heights Fire and Police personnel responded to report of a Groot garbage truck that clipped power lines and other utility lines while traveling northbound on Prindle, just south of Miner Street. The garbage truck had its dumpster loader extended overhead when it clipped the utility lines Friday about noon. The force of the accident snapped a utility pole that also supported a Village of Arlington Heights street light.

Commonwealth Edison and Arlington Heights public works officials also responded to this accident. No injuries were reported. Power was lost to some homes in the neighborhood.

Steve Kazmierscak had four weapons with him when he entered Cole Hall — the lecture hall where 22 students were shot and 6 total including the gunman’s suicide, died.

Gayle Dubowski, 20, of Carol Stream, Illinois was a fifth victim who passed away at Rockford OSF Saint Anthony Hospital in Winnebago County.
Steven Kazmierczak, 27, is the gunman identified who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene.
