No Injuries: Loaded School Bus Hits Light Pole Near Route 62 and New Wilke

Arlington Heights police received a report just before 8:00 a.m. Wednesday of a loaded school bus that hit a light pole near the intersection of Algonquin Road (Route 62) and New Wilke. No injuries reported. Arlington Heights public works called out to resolve the problem with the light pole.

Battery Victim on a School Bus, Male Juvenile Arrested

Arlington Heights police arrested a male juvenile about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on a school bus at Arlington Heights Road and Central Road. Another juvenile was injured and transported by Arlington Heights Fire Department paramedics to Northwest Community Hospital. The arrested juvenile was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
