Wallet Theft from Purse at Restaurant: $4500 Credit Card Charge Achieved, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:11 PM Friday September 29, 2017 of a theft at Cooper’s Hawk restaurant, 798 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed the victim’s wallet from her purse. The purse had been hung over the back of a chair. The wallet contained credit cards, cash, a driver’s license, gift cards, stamps and a train pass.

The credit cards were used by the offender(s), charging over $4,500.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, September 29, 2017 between 5:30 PM and 7:10 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 1:40 (hours: minutes).
