Outrage, Secret Service Scrutiny Over Kathy Griffin’s “Beheading” Photo, Video

#ad▼

Kathy Griffin is being criticized over photos and video she posted on Twitter that showed her with a detached, bloodied facsimile of President Trump’s head.

Kathy Griffin apologized after widespread outrage followed a photo of her simulating the beheading of Donald Trump, and said she was merely mocking the mocker.

Griffin markets herself as a stand up comedian, writer, producer, actress, and television host.

Griffin was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1960, and in 1978 moved with her parents at her urging to Los Angeles, where she studied drama at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and became a member of the improvisational comedy troupe The Groundlings.
