Des Plaines police responded about 8:05 AM Monday to an armed robbery at 1222 Lee Street Des Plaines, IL. Police received a report that an armed robbery occurred near a gas station at the southeast corner of Algonquin Road and Lee Street.
Suspects were described as …
#1) a male/white, age 25 brown knife, wearing a dark coat, and
#2) a female/white, age 25.
The male suspect was armed with a knife — possibly a machete.
The suspects took cash, and were last seen southbound from the scene in a silver Honda Civic, 4-door.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 8:05 a.m.
