Chicago police and assisting agencies, also with the help of a Chicago Police Department helicopter were searching for three or four suspects in a shooting in Chicago.
The suspect’s vehicle, a white Chevy Equinox was chased southbound I-55 near Central Avenue. The suspects turned around near Lemont and headed northbound in the southbound lanes of I-55.
The suspects bailed out of the Chevy Equinox near I-55 and County Line Road. A search by police officers on the ground with a helicopter overhead focused on a neighborhood just northwest of the interchange.
