Two people are reported to be in custody in the investigation of the death of a 37-year-old woman found at the White Pines Golf Club in unincorporated Bensenville. Preliminary autopsy results show that the woman died of a stab wound to the back, according to the DuPage County Coroner, who said there was no indication that the woman had been beaten — information that had been released previously.

Police believe the woman was killed about 3 miles away at an apartment building in the block of 11500 of West Grand Ave., Melrose Park.

The woman’s body was found by a groundskeeper, who was mowing the lawn at the White Pines Golf Club about 8:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2016.
