Barricaded Man on Highview Ct, Report of A Woman Injured on Tiffany Rd and Tiffany Ct Nearby in Antioch

Antioch police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:59 AM Wednesday to a report a man barricaded in a townhouse in the block of 700 Highview Court Antioch, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics also received a report that that a woman was injured at Concrete Solutions about 12:23 p.m.

Antioch Fire Department Ambulance 211 was meeting patient at Tiffany Road and Tiffany Ct by 12:35 p.m.

There was also a report of a Barricaded Subject in the 700 block of Highview Court in Antioch where police responded to a townhouse that is adjacent to the commercial property for Concrete Solutions.

Quad 2 Rehab assigned to the scene by 12:37 p.m.

The NIPAS (Northern Illinois Police Alarm System) Emergency Services Team — a special tactical team for hostage/barricade incidents — responded about 3:00 p.m.

A man wearing camouflage fatigues, a dark tank top and white sox was taken into custody by 4:38 p.m. ABC 7 Chicago’s Chopper 7HD showed video of the man standing next to an armored NIPAS Bearcat vehicle with his hands in handcuffs behind him.
