Arlington Heights Police Department Announces Open Enrollment for the Spring 2016 Citizen Police Academy Class

The Citizen Police Academy is an 11-week program held in a night class setting each Tuesday evening at the Arlington Heights Police Department. The academy provides hands-on experiences and practical insights into the everyday operations and specialized services provided by the Arlington Heights Police Department.

Seats are limited. Waiting lists routinely exist. Apply today.

The Academy includes classroom lessons, open discussions, multi-media presentations, live demonstrations and practical exercises in all facets of police work ranging from patrol operations and traffic law enforcement to criminal investigations, forensic sciences and crime prevention techniques.

The Academy is provided free of charge to all residents and business leaders of Arlington Heights in both spring and fall annual sessions.
