A large nighttime tornado, sometimes difficult to see, roars across I-30 in Rowlett, TX causing numerous power flashes and explosions.
A tornado that crossed Interstate 30 in Rowlett, Texas continued north across Lavon Lake and caused damage in Copeville, TX, continuing north along TX-78.
Eight people were reported killed in Garland, Texas. Also at least 15 people were injured and 600 structures were damaged or destroyed.
Three people also died in Collin County, just north of Garland.
There was a Blizzard Warning in West Texas while there was a Tornado Watch and Tornado Warnings in East Texas.
Homes have suffered huge amounts of damage after a tornado touched down in Texas Saturday evening. Rowlett is now under a 24-hour curfew after it took a direct hit from the storm.
