Buffalo Grove police received a report about 6:11 PM Tuesday of an attempted vehicle burglary at 951 North McHenry Road Buffalo Grove, IL. Police received a report that an unknown male offender broke a car window and tried to take a purse from a 2011 Nissan Rogue parked near softball fields at Mike Rylko Community Park.
A witness heard glass breaking and saw the man reach into the car. The witness ran toward the victim’s car, and the offender fled in a Nissan Altima.
Damage to the Nissan Rogue was estimated at $250.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 6:10 PM.
