Arlington Heights police responded about 7:31 AM Tuesday to a strong arm robbery at Red Roof Inn, 22 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender entered the victim’s hotel room via an open door, struck the victim in the head and demanded cash.
The offender was described as a black male subject, 30-40 years old, 5’05, 150-160 LBS, bald, and wearing a white tank top style shirt and black jeans.
Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded to assess the injuries to the victim. The police report did not indicate that the injuries were serious.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 between 7:20 AM and 7:30 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:10 (hours: minutes).
