Gas Leak Fixed at Construction Site of Transitional Care of Arlington Heights on North Arlington Heights Road

Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:16 AM Monday to a report of a natural gas odor at Arlington Heights Road and Oakton Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a gas odor in the area and located a leak at a large construction site just north of their fire station.

Nicor was called to the scene and stopped the leak by about noon.

The right lane of southbound Arlington Heights Road was closed during the repair.
