Power Outage near Oakton St and Patton Ave, Arlington Heights — Tree Down on Power Line

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:34 PM Sunday to a report of a tree down with a wire down at 1014 North Patton Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a tree was down and brought a wire down. The wire was reported to be smoking.

Firefighters from Engine 2 reported a power line down across Patton Ave, south of Oakton Street.

Winds are forecast to gust to 40 mph Sunday afternoon.
