Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:58 AM Friday to a report of a crash with entrapment at Route 83 and Aptakisic Long Grove IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that at least one person was trapped in a vehicle and unresponsive in the crash.
Police and firefighter/paramedics also received a report that the vehicle was on fire. Long Grove’s Battalion Chief reported seeing flames up ahead while responding to the crash.
Both drivers were being treated by paramedics in ambulances by 5:19 a.m. Fire command reports no hazardous material were on board the semi-trailer truck.
