Harrison Ford Seriously Injured in Vintage Aircraft Crash Landing at Penmar Golf Course Near Los Angeles

Hollywood actor Harrison Ford crash-landed a World War II training plane at Penmar Golf Course, Mar Vista, California near Los Angeles golf course.

He was transported to local hospital where he was listed in critical condition. He is reported to have several gashes to his head. A firefighter spokesman described the injuries to a 70-year-old male as fair-to-moderate.

Ford was piloting what appears to be a vintage 2-seater fighter plane Thursday when he crashed into Penmar golf course in Mar Vista near Venice, CA.

Two doctors who happened to be at the golf course immediately treated the actor, and fire-rescue personnel arrived a short time later.

Santa Monica and Los Angeles police are on the scene to preserve the scene for investigation.
