Laminated windows are tough on would-be car burglars or auto thiefs.

After he finished work, Gerry Brady, owner of the Pheasant pub in Drogheda, Co Louth in Ireland, found an injured man lying unconscious near his Mercedes E Coupe car .

When the man regained consciousness, he didn’t want Mr. Brady to call an ambulance — even though he told Brady he was attacked.

Brady noticed damage to the Mercedes and checked the surveillance TV for the area. He discovered that the previously unconscious man had previously mad several attempts to break into the Mercedes on the driver’s side and the passenger side. During an attempt on the passenger’s side window, the brick bounced off the laminated window and struck the man in the head. That was the blow that caused him to lose consciousness.

The offender was arrested by police, and taken away in custody. Brady shared the video on YouTube.
